DESCRIPTION:
Air drying, Synthetic short oil alkyd resin based, anticorrosive for metallic surfaces ; used as a primer paint.
PROPERTIES:
This primer paint is matt, resistant to salted water and humidity,anticorrusive and combinated with antirust characteristics zinc phosphate pigments to protect your metallic surfaces.
APPLICATION AREAS:
It is applied Axurapid untirust for all internal-external parts of buildings, all old or new surfaces of metallic constructions as an anticorrusive primer.
APPLICATION METHOD:
Metallic parts must be dry, clean, solid and removed from all rust and peeling substances. If possible remove the old paint with a steel wire brush. Then, prime the whole surface using Axurapid antirust anticorrosive primer. For this application, dilute the volume by 10% of rapid thinner for a roller and 15% for a spraygun application. Use 2 coats of Axurapid untirust, 30 min. between each coat.
DRYING TIME:
(20ºC – %65 current humidity). Touching drying 1/2 hours. Dust drying 2-4 hours. Hard drying 6-8 hours
CONSUMPTION (1 layer):
0,100 kg/m²- 0,120 kg/m² depending on the surface. (approximately a thickness of 35 mic.dry film)
STORAGE LIFE:
Keep it away from direct sunshine and hot temperatures (+30º C). The life-time of the product is one year after the date of production if stored in the recommended storage conditions and in unopened original packing.
FLASH POINT:
35ºC (21ºC – 50ºC, contains unmixable with water, flammable steam liquids)
DANGER INSTRUCTIONS:
R10- Flammable.
R20/21/22- Harmful when swallowed, by inhalation and in contact with the skin.
SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS:
S2- Keep out of the reach of children.
S3/7/9- Keep tightly closed at a cool and well ventilated place.
S16- Keep away from flammable sources. No Smoking.
S24/25- Harmful in touch with eyes and skin.
S51- Use only in well ventilated areas.
