DESCRIPTION:
Air drying, synthetic alkyd resin based, matt decorative undercoat.
PROPERTIES:
It has a high adherence and covering capacity, is economic and dries easily. It protects metallic facades from physical and chemical reactions due to the internal anticorrusive structure.
APPLICATION AREAS:
Suitable primer for all metallic facades, machinery, elevators. It is applied prior to the last coat as a decorative and protective agent.
APPLICATION METHOD:
Metallic or A metallic facades must be dry, strong and clean. All remaining rust, peeling parts, old paint must be removed with a steel wire brush or a sand scraper. After finishing the preparation it is time for priming: apply Axurapid primer for metallic facades. Leave the facade for drying for 4-6 hours. The next step is the last coat application: dillute Axurapid primer with Axuthinner rapid by 15% for a roller and by 20% for a spray gun application. 2 coats are necessary to obtain a good result; respect a period of 30 min between each coat.
DRYING TIME:
(20ºC – 65% current humidity) Touching drying 20-30 min. Dust drying 1-2 hours Hard drying 4-6 hours
FLASH POINT:
35ºC (Between 21ºC – 50ºC, contains unmixable with water, flammable steam liquids)
CONSUMPTION:
(approximately a thickness of 40 mic dry film) 0,100-0,150kg/m² depending on the surface
STORAGE LIFE:
Keep it away from direct sunshine and in a cool area between +5ºC and +30ºC. The life-time of the product is one year after the date of production if stored in the recommended storage conditions and in unopened original packing.
